Aghh dip exams are two weeks away. I'm not half ready for cello yet dammit. But still hoping that I'll scrape a pass for piano at least. Brenda's gonna page turn for me. Yay! She came over this morning and we had a long chat. I guess she's the only person I'll feel totally comfortable about in the exam room.
Don't really feel like practising the cello anymore. It's become such a chore since my teacher told me that I have to practise at least 4-5 hours a day. Like wth I'll not have a life left! Just been forcing myself to pick up that cello for two hours a day. And even that feels too much =_=
And this 7 year old can play this piece much better than I can. Urrghhh.
Watched the latest Glee episode (I know I'm late k) and it's kinda inspiring :) Especially love their version of Stronger by Kelly Clarkson!
Oh oh and I finished reading A Game of Thrones! It was awesome aside from the fact that there are SO many names to remember. Gotta admit I hardly know which side all the knights are on most of the time. But still, great book. Just started on A Clash of Kings! :D
Skipped cello practice for today since I had a long nap which I haven't done in ages. Undeserved break and shh don't tell on me ;) I'm guilty enough as it is. My life kinda revolves around music at this point and to be honest, I'm not enjoying it too much.
I'll update again after this weekend. Toodles!

Criss-crossroads.
So yesterday night, on the way from the airport to the club I pulled up the recordings page on my phone, put on my headphones and listened to every song I've ever played with my friends. Covers of pop songs, Brahms, Bloch, Janáček.. Such good memories of those times I'll never forget :) High school, undoubtedly the best few years of my life. Well.. yet.
Was on the way home from KL just now. Couldn't read because the sun had already set so I pulled out my old iPod Nano that I haven't synced in forever because my current iTunes holds a completely different library and I didn't want to lose all my old songs.
Listening to all those songs I used to listen to made me feel all nostalgic again. I haven't downloaded songs in forever so what I usually listen to is freaking classical music all the time. Was on shuffle mode and the iPod played Fifteen by Taylor Swift. And somehow that made me feel so old. I should be the fifteen-year-old relating to the song, but I'll be eighteen soon and I know that's not old, but compared to fifteen, it feels so old! Like I'm not even considered a teenager anymore. We're always in such a hurry to grow up because it just seems so cool but when you've finally reached that age that you always wanted to be, you realise it's not all that and you wish you never wanted to grow up so badly all those years.
And now I've finished with high school, or secondary school, whichever you please, I realise there is so much I haven't seen of the world. Now I wonder about the future, what will happen to all those familiar faces from school, those you've been seeing almost every day since you started primary school? What jobs will they have? How far will they rise? Will some of them become famous? and you'll see them in the papers one day and tell your kids or spouse, hey, I knew them from school! or Hey, I used to be really good friends with him/her a long time ago! Hah, I'll probably dig up this blog post some ten or twenty years later and reminisce about this point in life that I'm currently at right now.
People you never thought would change have changed in ways you never imagined they would. I suppose change is inevitable, in life. We always hear that but this is when I'm just really beginning to experience it. We're going to meet all sorts of new people, all kinds of people we've never been exposed to before. Meeting Lee Kuan Yew's niece, for example, made me realise there actually are such people to exist on the face of this earth, and there probably are plenty more, it's just I've never had the misfortune to cross paths with any of the others before. Most probably, there's a whole lot more who are worse than her, i mean, who knows? On the brighter side, there are also loads of wonderful people I've yet to meet and learn from, and I can't wait for that. So much of the world I've yet to experience, so much yet to see.
Well, I suppose I'll end this post here, I've probably bored you to death by now, if you've actually bothered to take the time to read my random rambling thoughts from today. I know this is a change from my normal style of blogging :)

Shopping, I likey
Hello! Blogging again. It's actually 1.13 AM and I only slept 5 hours yesterday so yep my head's all heavy and hurting.
ANYWAY. I made pancakes for breakfast the other day! Used my own altered recipe for the first time since I've discovered that internet recipes are total rubbish. And they turned out okay!
Meh went to KL for cello again last week. Stopped at The Curve after to buy books at Borders lolol. So guai leh me. No actually I was just trying to make dad buy books for me cuz books are super expensive hehehe. And I wanted to take advantage of being able to find books you'll never see in Ipoh bookstores. I bought 5 in the end!
Okay it's actually afternoon right now. But whatever. Chang Min came over yesterday for a while and so did Lime and Aleh. Went to the new AEON after that!
Bought string beans from the Candies Cottage place. Yummy :P Unhelpful staff though! Ask them whether they have xxx and they tell you to look for yourself lah. Sulky cashiers some more =_= Lime and I got a top each at Cotton On as well, so unexpected.
So mini review here. We went to Sakae Sushi for lunch because the other places didn't really appeal to us.

Yeyyy golden brown one okay! LOL. Super yummy too :P Even mum said it was nice! She's never made pancakes before cuz they're below her standard hahah.

I FOUND A GAME OF THRONES. Wooh! There was actually a boxed set of the first four books but I did some math and buying the books individually actually costs less. Buy one get the second 50% off. Dad didn't let me get four though. I'm happy with two all the same!
Saw so many Philippa Gregory books! Chose these two cuz they had the get 2nd one half off as well. Historical fiction is awesome >:)
Light reading :) Wanted I Heart New York but I guess it's the same lol.
Anyway time to log off for now. I'll continue in the morninggg.

Green tea as usual!
Cool thing about this place is you can order using the iPad system, which is what we did. Not bad :) But wait...
The cup doesn't even reach the lever thingy! Had to hold the cup up and push really hard to get the hot water. Risking our lives man!
Spray not even some more! Got some hot water on my hand the first time. Sorry about the blurry pic the cup fills up fast lolol.
Urgh so anyway Lime and Aleh both ordered the Chicken Katsu or something like that, Lime's with curry. Came pretty fast.
Aleh's!
Lime's!
Waiter so unhygienic! But I suppose it was hard to do it any other way?
Oh and there wasn't a box of tissues at our table like everybody elses, so Aleh asked for tissues, twice, but nobody brought any. So Aleh went over to another table to get tissues haha.
Aleh wanted to demonstrate that their tissues sangat low quality! Haha.
Anyway my ramen didn't come until Lime and Aleh were almost done with their rice. I was almost going to cancel already lor! Eat sushi enough! >.< Gah.
Lol random blurry pic.
I'm somehow very annoyed that this pic is blurry and keep staring at it trying to will it to become clearer. =_= SOUR JELLYFISH!!
We got mochi! Heheheh. Not bad.
Aleh!
I guess the atmosphere was okay, not too much privacy but what can you expect at a restaurant anyway. After we paid we checked the bill and found out they charged us RM3.99 for the green plate! Ugh. You know RM2 extra is a lot of money or not?! Plus 16% taxes! =_=

Aleh gives Station 18's Sakae Sushi 2 1/2 stars out of 5. I'd give it about 3, seeing as well, it does have air con and at least the place is considered clean lol. Food was okay but nothing too special. Overall definitely not on par with the other Sakae Sushi's I've tried, even if it does use iPads for ordering haha.
Went shopping after that!
Got this little fishy at Sasa! I was sold by the sample thingy on the top right corner haha. Felt it and was intrigued so I had to buy it. Shopaholic syndrome.
Bought some earrings at Vincci too. Not a very comfortable shopping experience cuz it's so cold there! Must remember not to wear shorts the next time I go. Not that it'll be all that often anyway since it's so freaking far!
Whole fam's heading to KL again tomorrow cuz bro's heading back to uni. Weekly trips to KL nowadays!
For the Love of Music
Took part in KVWO & PPO's fund-raising concert on Sunday: For the Love of Music :) Meru Valley's Dome!
Only cellist lah saya. I guess we didn't do too badly, and I think everyone loved our encore piece. Love Story Meets Viva La Vida by The Piano Guys, arranged for us. We only got the scores six days before!
For the first time I didn't tie my hair in just a ponytail, I wanted it down but out of the way. So I did some sort of braid to the side to get my hair away from my left side. Weird, but it kind of worked :) Didn't bring my camera to Meru, sadly!

Instagram && Temple Run!
Hello! So as you guys know, well I assume you do, Instagram and Temple Run are now on Android! :)
So many people on Instagram now hahah. Including me, of course. I actually could have started using it ages ago on my iPod, but since the only way I could post photos is if i transferred everything into it, I wasn't going to go through all that trouble. And I could view everyone's photos on Twitter anyways. So now I have it on my phone I'll have more motivation to take more photos using my phone camera! :)
Oh, follow me on Instagram btw ;) lolol.
Actually only found out today that Temple Run is on Android too! Sooo... I started playing it on my iPod. I'm now officially addicted to the game! Not gonna download it on my phone though. I trust the iPod touch screen much more :P But download it everyone! Hahah.
Mum bought mochi sweets when we were in KL. Didn't eat any of them cuz somehow I wasn't tempted.
Nice packaging horrr. But I wasn't impressed with the contents. Mum kept the Green Tea one and told the brother not to eat it because it's for me, he ate it anyway. Not surprising because it's been like that since forever, he'll even eat chocolates that have my name pasted on them. When we were younger and mum and dad went out for dinner, they would leave food for us but bro would eat my share and say he thought it was his. So, yeah.. I'm used to it lol.
Anyway, I had the Black Chocolate one. Tasted a little like not so nice ice cream. :/
So I had mum's chocolate cake after that! Heheh yes I'm eating a lot of chocolate. Consider it my Easter egg substitution since I'm not going to have any this year :) Self consolation for my gluttony hahah.

Mum took this with my camera on the way to KL! Nice right! :)

Tiny haul!
Feeling very bored this Tuesday evening, so I decided to write a blog post. Only I don't have anything to write about really. So I shall do the tiniest haul ever to exist lol!
Followed Mum to Parkson the other day because it was.. Bonuslink Day or something aweshum like that. Mum splurged on a Clinique night cream and bought me a cleanser too! Yay for expensive cleansers! It cost RM 90, which actually is a really ridiculous amount to spend on something which only stays on your face for like, thirty seconds or however long it takes for you to wash your face.
I feel so stupid doing a 'haul' and posting pictures, like anyone's actually interested. Oh well.
Mum actually bought it for me because you get an 8pc gift set if you spend RM 370 at Clinique, but we spent only RM 360. The girl gave it to us anyway hahah. Mum gave me a few of the samples inside!

...I mean, clearly I don't have anything else I feel like doing.
Dragged mum over to Popular after that to search for I Heart New York, but sadly, couldn't find it. Gahhh. So I bought an Alexandra Potter book :) not a bad substitute.
