Shopaholic babeh

Whoa guys. Finally done with my Hong Kong post! Took me DAYS and it isn't even that entertaining/interesting sigh. I only blog like once a month now! Sad case. :/

I'm back home for a week cuz we there was graduation on last Thursday, Merdeka Day on Friday and mid-sem break is Monday to Wednesday so I came back home Wednesday evening :D Yeah.. to STUDY. Qualifying tests are this week (Thursday and Friday)!

Admittedly I've been at malls, on Youtube, playing Temple Run, walking around etc etc. more than studying but whatever >.< The only subject I've started studying is Chemistry wth. I'm so dead for QTs.

Let's haul something! ^_^

So I got Chris Colfer's new book which just came out! :P pre-ordered it from the Book Depository when I was feeling particularly greedy ehehhe

Whee I've already finished it and it was really good! :)

Also mum got a new eyeliner which she didn't like cuz the tip was too fine so she gave it to me :D

K-palette brown eyeliner. Tried it out for a day and it lasted all day w/o any primer or whatever! A miracle on my super oily eyes lol.

Hmmm so the other week, which was a whole two weeks ago as I'm typing this (QT's just ended today!) Lime and Aleh came down to KL for shoppeeng! :D

Met them at KL Sentral and we took the LRT to Suria KLCC. Went to the Popular book fest before buying anything cuz we weren't sure how much we were gonna spend on books. Holy.... it was awesome lol. Bad idea buying books before shopping btw. The books were so. freaking. cheap! Hardbacks for RM10 average unheard of wth. I wasn't really planning on buying anything but the deals were just too good to pass up >.<

Yeah so I bought a total of 9 books. Which came up to the grand total of... RM106.10. :D

Our books all piled together ;D awesome-nya we lugged these around the whole day shopping.

Mine! And no need to tell me. I have way too many books.

Oh and Kevin has tempted me into going to the Bad Bad Wolf sale end of this year! The books are probs even cheaper than the Popular book fest urgh. I shall refrain from buying a single book until then cuz I have about thirty books that I've bought but not read. Terrible, I know.

Went for lunch at the Subway in the food court! :D We were actually comtemplating having desserts for lunch cuz we found Moo Cow, Tong Pak Fu and Gong Cha but decided against it lol. So many people in the food court!

Bweee!

Aleh and her crab sandwich haha.

Our first time trying Gong Cha! ;) I guess there isn't any difference with pearl milk tea which is what I always get.

Walked to Pavilion after! Yay!

Boring you with pictures :P

Three generations yo!

Mama and grandmama

Bweee!

Ah well QT's just ended on Friday. Chemistry was terrible and went to Times Square after the math exam ended :D:D had Chatime for the second time that week gah and got tempted by Rachel into get a nail dotting tool and some feathers.

Came back, spent normal afternoon hours sitting at home on my laptop and I really thought I wasn't going to be going out anymore.. but Emily came back and we suddenly decided to go watch Step Up wtf. So we went to Pavilion for the 9.10 pm show D:

Anyways Step Up was awesome! Walked back at 11 something and wow. KL night life. So many people out for drinks!

Came home, sat at my desk for a while Line-ing, then went down to the lobby to order Mcd with Vivian and Chiou Yih wtf. It was 12 something! Had our slumber party w/Mcd down in the lobby the guards must have thought we were so weird man. Finally went back to our apartments at 2 something :X I slept after 3 that night. My latest night at KL yet!

Sooooh. Spent Saturday with mum and went to KLCC, did a little shopping. Finally got some Uniqlo jeggings! Lovesss.

AND. My favourite purchase. Topshop's Hidden Treasure! I've seriously been eyeing it for the longest time. Every time I walk into Topshop I'll go and look at it lol. And mum agreed to get it for me! ^_^ Painted my nails with it this afternoon and ahh! It's looks gold with a hint of green but when you angle it differently it looks green. Ah so pretty!

Not a very good picture maybe I'll post a better one next time! Hidden Treasure is on the left and the one on the right is Amethyst which my mum got. Same concept!

So today.. again I wasn't planning on going out at all but Emily came back and I have no idea how, but we ended up going to Midvalley. FOURTH MALL THIS WEEK. PUNISH ME PLEASE.

Withdrew RM100 as my allowance next week, went into Forever 21, and THIS happened.

So pretty I had to get it! RM95 X_X I guess it's cheap for a lace dress but ahhh! My entire week's allowance! Tightening le belt this week. :(((

Have to refrain from shopping after this. YEEEESH. Considering this the post-QT letting myself go. Semester exams are in a months time and Emily and I wanna work towards upgrading our scholarship. Don't know if that's even possible at the rate I'm going D:

Oh and Apple users! There's a new app for Temple Run! Based on Brave and basically the same thing but different setting! So cool go download it for free! >:) lolol.

So yep, that's it for this post. I have a 3 page essay due tomorrow that I don't think I'm gonna do since it's already past ten.. yep bye!

Hong Kong!

I so feel like killing myself right now. Wrote a super long post about Orientation Camp, wanted to save a copy so I selected everything, then accidentally pressed 'c' and deleted the whole thing. And Blogger saved the draft *facepalm*

Okay wrote that goodness knows how long ago and... I'm continuing this blog post now. So basically camp was awesome, the usual kind of camp where you roll and drag yourself in the grass and mud, walk in rivers, shower with no hot water in filthy bathrooms, and sleep in sleeping bags in tents with 7 other people next to a river which makes your towels smell bad. Cheers.

Anyways this post is gonna be mainly about the Hong Kong trip :) so I went with J'sic Music Centre where I used to learn piano before I started college. For a performance as a cellist though.

Pui Yee came to my house before midnight so the van to KLIA could pick us up together at 2 something, in the morning. So insane right :( I fell asleep in mum's room and she woke us up when the van was already waiting outside the house wth. Had to scramble to get my stuff while half asleep, thank God mum was there to throw my stuff into my bag or I'd had missed so many things.

Slept the whole way, arrived at KLIA around 5 something and immediately went to get breakfast :D at Burger King. Yep, Burger King before dawn. Awesome pawesome babeh.

Aah let's just skip to arriving at HKIA. One of the most awesome airports I've been to, it's a tie between HKIA and KLIA as to which is my favourite airport whee. Changed money there cuz mum epicly forgot to change money for me and just gave me some USD to change over there. Epic. Anyway a couple of performers from the Hong Kong Guitar Ensemble came to meet us and go with us to our hotel. Regal Riverside Hotel.. I think it was.

First impression, (didn't have my camera on me! :'( ) so many high-rise buildings! Apartment blocks at least 50 floors high and so.. compressed? You know, low ceilings --> more floors. And super organised -looking lol.

Reached the hotel, checked in after waiting for 13425 minutes. Shared a room with Pui Yee that night cuz her mum and sister weren't there yet. And as the bad blogger I am, I totally forgot to take pictures of the room. Yeapp.

Unwrapped our cellos and went out for dinner!

The char siew rice.. so so only lah. CO practice rice will always be the best! :p

Went to 7-Eleven after dinner and got these mmmm pork instant noodles. Sorry for the romantic yellow lighting in all the pics hahah hotel probs.

I'm slacking off while they practise as you can see oh yeahhs

Makes an awesome hotel room :)

What Pui Yee and I do when we're by ourselves in a hotel room.. hahah

Supper! Pui Yee's on the left and mine on the right. Pui Yee's was better, pork chowder flavour me thinks

Spent the rest of the night watching the Spiderwick Chronicles. Not bad lah they kept putting advertisements in at the exciting parts so we couldn't leave the tv wth. So we had to watch until 11 plus and by then we were too tired to wash our hair, so yeap we didn't wash our hair that night :D

Next morning woke up bright and early (yeah right) and went to a nearby place for dimsum. Whee dimsum in Hong Kong!

I ate two of these! Side note: I totally stuck this trip to what Shar Min told me before I left, 'Eat more pork!' lolol.

Meh some of the dishes we ordered.

What's this called.. the glutinous rice with chicken. Weirdd I didn't like it Ipoh's is better ;)

Pui Yee and I at the table :)

Back to our room for cello practice! Miss Maria went room to room to make us drink Vitamin C hahah.

Left for the town hall after. Well city hall or whatever it's called. The place where we were going to perform that night anyways.

People using our cases as coat stands lolol

Pui Yee and I! Unintentionally matching outfits! :P

Wen Yee and I :) They're both doing their degree in music already so jealous!

Came back and this is what we saw wtf. Miss Hew's fan and coat, Duing Yew's (I'm not even sure whether his name is spelt like this sorry if it isn't hahah) cap. Hello mister!

Took the MTR to this coffee shop sort of place for lunch. So. Many Dishes! I don't think we finished even a single one of the dishes! And it was super hard to eat with a giant fan blowing right next to us and getting our hair all up in our faces lol.

Went back to the hall for rehearsals after that, and after, shopping! :D We had an hour to walk around and Pui Yee and I (or more like, I) got a bunch of sweets and chocolates to bring back as souvenirs and such. Pui Yee got some Meiji black chocolate to calm her nerves hahah. Oh and Zara was having a sale! SO CHEAP. Even without the discount it's much cheaper than M'sia. Didn't buy anything cuz I didn't have that much money unfortunately. D:

Got back, changed and got ready. All the girls were busy putting on makeup! I only had a bit of unnoticeable eyeliner on. Wasn't like anybody was going to be able to tell during the performance anyways.. Then soloists had our rehearsals and it was urgh terrible horrible vegetable I no want talk about it.

3 cellists! :))

Wen Yee told me to act cute. Obviously I failed :P

Full dress rehearsal after. credits to Miss Wan :)

The HK Guitar Ensemble performed before us. Kinda cool, first time at a guitar ensemble performance. I was tired so I nodded off a little at the end :X shh no tell.

Lepas intermission was us. So the performance was.. okay lah so-so, like usual. My solo was.. blah missed the running notes that wasn't too much of a problem before. The cadenza-ish part some more *hides*

*DEEPBREATH* anyways

With Miss Maria after the performance :)

Went back to the hotel and went out again for supper at the same place where we had lunch lolol. Had tau fu fah which had some sort of yellow sugar on top? I was too sleepy to do anything and sort of fell asleep at the table too gah. My secret talent is sleeping while sitting upright haha. ;)

Oh and Pui Yee's sister and mum joined us in our room that night. They had to wait like, nine hours at KLIA cuz they went super early, and then their flight got postponed. Gosh poor things.

Next day, breakfast first! Had sandwiches which Pui Yee's brother got for us at 7-Eleven before we left, so double breakfast!

Pics on the way :)

The bus brought us to this apparently very famous place, Australian Dairy or something like that. So many people! 6 of us crammed into this tiny booth. Pui Yee and I shared a breakfast set.

Scrambled eggs and buttered toast. Normally I'm not one for scrambled eggs but they tasted really good! mmmmm.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be but that's macaroni and turkey ham. Not bad either! Set came with milk tea which I didn't think was too interesting  :p

All the food looked pretty unappetising but definitely thumbs up! :D

Outside the restaurant. Notice they use bamboo for construction! Haha.

Look at the freaking long queue to get into the restaurant O_O

Headed to a shopping area after this, walked around for an hour. It was quite boring actually! The others went to a Doraemon place which was kinda cool. Should've followed them.. :/

Walked to the Arena of Stars after that. It was noon and so freaking hot! The sun was scorching and we were practically sweating our backs off gosh.

Whee most of us!

With Pui Yee and Hui Yee (Pui Yee's sis)

Dum dee dum the background is so pretty :)

Bruce Lee! Sorry I know I'm a terrible photographer.

Jackie Chan! Handprints beside their names btw that's why there's a pair of hands on the ground ;D

Malaysia's very own Michelle Yeoh there :)

Leaving the place! There were soo many other celebs' handprints there but I have zero knowledge of any Hong Kong celebs eheh.

 Miss Hew! bahahaha so cute.

Again with the coincidental matching outfits!

Shopping after that! *hearts for eyes* haha.

Honkies seem to really, really like branded stuff lol. Especially high-end makeup stores filled with shoppers gosh.

Walked through the mall to get to the MTR station. I must say I prefer Taiwan's ;) We had to go from one end of the line to the other! And passed by the Disneyland stop on the way!

One of two from the guitar ensemble who brought us round so sweet :) I think her name was Kiki ahh I forget we hung out with Gabriel more.

Ignore the hair I hadn't washed in like two or three days or something gross like that lol. Gabriel took this for us! He's a sweetie pie.

So we went to this outlet mall where everything is much cheaper than in Malaysia. So many people omg. They really do love shopping in Hong Kong.

Had lunch at Food Republic first! Even the food court costs quite a lot there :X

Pui Yee and her enormous portion of noodles lolol. Her 'I can't finish!' face.

We probably had something like three hours to shop, way more than I needed since I only had like HKD500 left.. sad case lol. We did get a couple of things though, as well as some Starbucks :P

Got bored and went to the supermarket..

Coke bottles, y u so short and fat?

Yes I are angry bird chips! Whatcha starin' at eh?

Bought some instant noodles and went back out again, went to the top floor and discovered it linked to another mall *gasp* hahah. Went into Kate Spade just for fun obviously we couldn't buy anything. Kate Spade bags are so nice aiyo I want I want.

Got sucked into Sasa, went down the the ground floor and found out it wasn't linked so we had to go back up to the top floor *facepalm* Everyone was waiting for us by the time we reached the agreed place :X

So anyways, took the MTR all the way back again gah. Went for dinner! This famous place again where you have to order their chicken, it's compulsory lolol.

The famous chicken lol.

Ordered this mushroom and chicken rice. Everything was so expensive! I got milk tea as well heheh I'm addicted.

Hard Rock all the way at the top lolol.

I have no idea what the significance of this is.. but everyone was taking pictures so I followed :P

We found Ipoh in Hong Kong! Hahah but written wrongly.

Walked all the way to the jetty to take a ferry across the river wheee. Just to see Hong Kong at night.

Preeety clock tower.

Dawned bright and early the next day! Only to have to pack wait around for everyone to go out for breakfast gah. Walked to a nearby coffee shop for breakfast :)

Ordered a bowl of pork porridge. A GIANT bowl. And yes, more PORK. ;D

Really good! Wrapped in chee cheong fun.

Stopped by at 7-Eleven on the way back to the hotel and Pui Yee bought this ice cream that looks like peeled banana hahah so cute.

Waited around at the hotel, then checked out. I was leaving early with Miss Hew and Miss Loh and the others were switching to another hotel :( Everyone left and we waited until 1.30 for the shuttle to fetch us to the airport gah.

Slept all the way to the airport >:) got dimsum and bought some mini Oreos before we left ehehh. Arrived in Ipoh at around 1am Tuesday btw. And I was leaving for college on Wednesday :(

Haul time!  :D

SHWEETS MMMHMMM.

Got four of these! Not all for myself lah lolol.

Yes, I know I went a little bit crazy hahah

Hehe was so excited to see this! I tried it and I love it btw :)

And Mini oreos! :D about 20 sen coin size. Got these at the airport <3<3

This actually isn't everything, I got a few mini Body Shop lotions and shower gels from the Christmas line but I guess that's it!

Awesome trip for it being only four days long, and I got to visit a new country! :)) I prefer Taiwan to Hong Kong though more cute stuff ;)

Till next time people!
