Taiwan haul!

So everyone who has been to Taiwan knows it's impossible to come back without doing some shopping :P Haullll!!!

Sorry for the crappy pics I'm not feeling that great today and my camera was running out of battery.. so yeah.

Stopped by at this music shop which sold some instruments and scores and stuff so I got these :) 

 From another music shop! Super cheap RM30 only! I don't need a new one right now but I figured I will in the future! Lol.

Got four boxes of the pineapple su hahah. Lazy to take separate pictures. 

 Got two of each :) Just tried a green tea one and it was goood.

 More mochi! But only one of each.

 Missha BB cream. Really small 20 ml only gah.

 For lime! RM40 wth i think they sell it RM60 over here.

 Got four packets of this lolol. Buy 1 free 1 okay.

 Again the laziness kicks in. Got the Burt's Bees lip balm for about RM15. And the Velcro hair thingy cuz believe it or not, I don't have one of these.

 Yay! I remember loving this shop when we visited Taiwan last year. Spent so much time in there! At Danshui btw.

 Eheheh four packs! I wanted more but mum wouldn't allow. I got the Black Pearl, Pearl Powder, Strawberry Yogurt and Japanese Cherry Blossom.

 RM22 only for one box! and 7-Eleven had a discount RM20 per box some more wth. Costs about the same in Hong Kong tooo.

 Just cause the packaging is pretty hahah.

 Got a bracelet at the same stall where I got this last year! They still had the same bracelet lolol.

 Had to get shoes cuz I didn't last year. Not that cheap RM30+ but whatever.

Stupid adaptor which doesn't work. RM40 =_=

Got some hair ties too and a bag but I couldn't find the hair ties and I forgot to photograph the bag. Heheh. Oh and two individual My Beauty Diary masks which I got just cuz it was RM7 for two. :P

I also got Mercy by Jodi Picoult but no need for pictures right. You've seen it in bookstores.

So that's it! Super short and easy blog post and not that much stuff actually. Hahah.

New things & early birthday!

Hello! I'm here again, somehow. I guess I'll do some kind of a haul of some of the things I've purchased recently.

So I was looking for a leave-in conditioner for my hair, since it's always kind of dry after I wash it. Bought this in a Watsons at KL to try out!

Like it a lot! Smells really nice and manages to sort of tame my hair so it's not as unruly as before. It doesn't make my hair 'dangerously straight' as it claims, of course, since I naturally have wavy hair. And it makes my hair much softer ^_^ I just put it in after shower while my hair's still wet. First time I'm actually using some kind of product in my hair aside from the usual in-shower shampoo and conditioner lol.

 Mum got this for me too since I'd run out of nail polish remover. I usually use the Cutex one since it works really well but got this because, well, it had a discount so why not? 

Hmm so it does the job and everything but I really don't care for the smell at all, so don't think I'll be repurchasing it next time. Cutex all the way! Lol.

 Grabbed this necklace from Kitschen! Blame Mum for trying out tons of clothes so I had nothing to do but wait around next to the accessories section hehe. Have to be really careful with the feathers though.

Oh and a Revlon nail polish (RM20), also from Watsons! In 791 Midnight Affair. I liked the dark blue so I got it. It applies reaally dark, as in almost black. Problem is it stained my nails like crazy! I've never had such stained nails before :S My nails are currently half yellow from this wth. Not sure if it's the combination of this and the base coat but don't think I'll be using this again anytime soon. :/

Put it against flying bear for another pic too! Lolol I'm so in love with the series and I'm so excited to really start reading this book. 

 And tadahh! I already have the next two books waiting to be read :P

Soo. Accompanied mum to the swimming club for her exercise on Friday since I'd already followed her to the market in the morning. I actually wanted to visit the library to borrow a book, read then have lunch but mum was like go and cycle lah! And the guy set up the machine for me so I endured 15 torturous minutes pedaling on the machine T_T why is cycling so tiring gosh. Could hear mum telling him all about how I never ever exercise ish.

And after I'd finally, finally finished I thought yay! Can sit down and read liao! But no the guy brought me to the treadmill some more wth. Luckily he set it really slow so I just walked and read at the same time for 40 minutes eheheh. Wayy more exercise than I ever do lol.

Story of how I got tricked into exercising. =_=

Anyway went to the library after and borrowed The Merlin Conspiracy! Favourite author ever yayay. I mean to collect every single one of her books :3

Went out for dinner with Cheryl and Emilia Friday night at Ola Ola Cuisine, located at one of the rows of shop lots behind Jusco.

I only ordered a mixed crispy salad because I felt guilty that I'd pigged out on Mcd nuggets and didn't eat any veges at all the whole day! Lol so miserable. Tried a piece of Emilia's lamb and it was really good though :)

After we finished our main courses the waitress brought a Secret Recipe cake box out! I was not expecting it at all :O Haha.. Cheryl mentioned to me some time ago that we would celebrate my birthday early when Emilia came back but it totally did not register that day, being the blur person that I am. I was genuinely surprised that day :) Thanks girlss <3

Hello! Blogging again. It's actually 1.13 AM and I only slept 5 hours yesterday so yep my head's all heavy and hurting.

ANYWAY. I made pancakes for breakfast the other day! Used my own altered recipe for the first time since I've discovered that internet recipes are total rubbish. And they turned out okay!

Yeyyy golden brown one okay! LOL. Super yummy too :P Even mum said it was nice! She's never made pancakes before cuz they're below her standard hahah.

Meh went to KL for cello again last week. Stopped at The Curve after to buy books at Borders lolol. So guai leh me. No actually I was just trying to make dad buy books for me cuz books are super expensive hehehe. And I wanted to take advantage of being able to find books you'll never see in Ipoh bookstores. I bought 5 in the end!

 I FOUND A GAME OF THRONES. Wooh! There was actually a boxed set of the first four books but I did some math and buying the books individually actually costs less. Buy one get the second 50% off. Dad didn't let me get four though. I'm happy with two all the same!

 Saw so many Philippa Gregory books! Chose these two cuz they had the get 2nd one half off as well. Historical fiction is awesome >:)

Light reading :) Wanted I Heart New York but I guess it's the same lol.

Anyway time to log off for now. I'll continue in the morninggg.

Okay it's actually afternoon right now. But whatever. Chang Min came over yesterday for a while and so did Lime and Aleh. Went to the new AEON after that!

Bought string beans from the Candies Cottage place. Yummy :P Unhelpful staff though! Ask them whether they have xxx and they tell you to look for yourself lah. Sulky cashiers some more =_= Lime and I got a top each at Cotton On as well, so unexpected.

So mini review here. We went to Sakae Sushi for lunch because the other places didn't really appeal to us.

Green tea as usual!

Cool thing about this place is you can order using the iPad system, which is what we did. Not bad :) But wait...

The cup doesn't even reach the lever thingy! Had to hold the cup up and push really hard to get the hot water. Risking our lives man!

Spray not even some more! Got some hot water on my hand the first time. Sorry about the blurry pic the cup fills up fast lolol.

Urgh so anyway Lime and Aleh both ordered the Chicken Katsu or something like that, Lime's with curry. Came pretty fast.

Oh and there wasn't a box of tissues at our table like everybody elses, so Aleh asked for tissues, twice, but nobody brought any. So Aleh went over to another table to get tissues haha.

Aleh wanted to demonstrate that their tissues sangat low quality! Haha.

Anyway my ramen didn't come until Lime and Aleh were almost done with their rice. I was almost going to cancel already lor! Eat sushi enough! >.< Gah.

Aleh!

I guess the atmosphere was okay, not too much privacy but what can you expect at a restaurant anyway. After we paid we checked the bill and found out they charged us RM3.99 for the green plate! Ugh. You know RM2 extra is a lot of money or not?! Plus 16% taxes! =_=

Aleh gives Station 18's Sakae Sushi 2 1/2 stars out of 5. I'd give it about 3, seeing as well, it does have air con and at least the place is considered clean lol. Food was okay but nothing too special. Overall definitely not on par with the other Sakae Sushi's I've tried, even if it does use iPads for ordering haha.

Went shopping after that!

 Got this little fishy at Sasa! I was sold by the sample thingy on the top right corner haha. Felt it and was intrigued so I had to buy it. Shopaholic syndrome.

Bought some earrings at Vincci too. Not a very comfortable shopping experience cuz it's so cold there! Must remember not to wear shorts the next time I go. Not that it'll be all that often anyway since it's so freaking far!

Whole fam's heading to KL again tomorrow cuz bro's heading back to uni. Weekly trips to KL nowadays!

Tiny haul!

Feeling very bored this Tuesday evening, so I decided to write a blog post. Only I don't have anything to write about really. So I shall do the tiniest haul ever to exist lol!

Followed Mum to Parkson the other day because it was.. Bonuslink Day or something aweshum like that. Mum splurged on a Clinique night cream and bought me a cleanser too! Yay for expensive cleansers! It cost RM 90, which actually is a really ridiculous amount to spend on something which only stays on your face for like, thirty seconds or however long it takes for you to wash your face.

I feel so stupid doing a 'haul' and posting pictures, like anyone's actually interested. Oh well.

Mum actually bought it for me because you get an 8pc gift set if you spend RM 370 at Clinique, but we spent only RM 360. The girl gave it to us anyway hahah. Mum gave me a few of the samples inside!

...I mean, clearly I don't have anything else I feel like doing.

Dragged mum over to Popular after that to search for I Heart New York, but sadly, couldn't find it. Gahhh. So I bought an Alexandra Potter book :) not a bad substitute.

 I was trying to focus on the text... I'd fail as a photographer lol.

Yay for trying to be all artistic and adding a filter! 

Anyway... that's all. Heading down to KL tomorrow and possibly the whole family is going too. Hope there's time to visit 1 Utama! :P
