Ahhh so I watched The Hunger Games!! :) Almost a week late to say this but yep watched it last Friday with Emilia and Cheryl.
Aaand I thought the movie was great! The actors were really true to character imo. Some people didn't like Peeta apparently, but I thought he was great and kinda hot too hehehe. I like how they played everything out, and I guess the mob thingy after Rue's death (which wasn't in the first book) was for those who didn't read the books, to prep them for Catching Fire. And another thing great was there wasn't too much gore lol! Lucky for me >.< But one thing I didn't like was they didn't mention a single thing about the Avox people. I would have thought more of the Capitol's cruelty should have been shown. But all in all, awesome job Lionsgate!
Recently watched a bit of Britain's Got Talent again. I stopped watching when Simon Cowell left and Piers decided to try and be the next Simon (=_=), and did an awful job, obviously. But Simon somehow came back lol! Didn't do any research so I don't know how that happened, but I definitely like the show again yay.
Been having thoughts about the future. I know I'm choosing the hard route for myself by doing music, so at least I'm given another two years to think about and be sure about it. Because whether I like it or not, I actually think I'm better at sciences than arts.
Emilia left for college last week. First of my closer friends to leave Ipoh. Hope we can meet up again soon Bam!!
I actually do have other stuff to blog about, but I just don't feel like it. Diploma exams are coming up and I'm far from ready. Signing off here.
Oh and this video! Yep Harry Potter did start getting a little more far-fetched after each book. Esp the later ones.

Results.
Well the day finally came. SPM results. After months of sitting around speculating. :/
I'll just get it out since I'll tell anybody who asks anyway. I didn't get any A's. :)
I'm not bluffing kay it's true because I only got A+'s and A-'s hahah! So yeah. I got 7A+'s, 2A-'s and a B+. The B+ for Chinese, obviously. I didn't expect anything higher than a C, frankly. Before SPM I was hoping for a B, but after the exam I was like, no way in hell, I did so much more badly than in school. I guess they just lowered the standard this year o.O
Well can't say that I'm not satisfied with my results. Cuz I am. Maybe because I aimed rather low? Too afraid of disappointment possibly. I'm not even disappointed with my A-minuses for Moral and BM. Perhaps if I had studied more I would be but I didn't, so I have the right to feel disappointed, just thankful I didn't do worse. :)
And I have no idea how I got that A+ for Physics since I'm t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e at it, just ask anyone. I guess I got lucky. Which is nothing to be proud of is it.
I guess it's time to apply to KTJ. So many people picked and chose and applied wondering where to study, whereas I've known all along. Oh well.
Gah heading to KL tomorrow so I'll sign off now, didn't expect this post to be so short though.

It's a moocow! :)
Hello there, person who's reading my blog! :) Hello hello.
So I got a new camera Friday before last. Olympus. At last I can take nice pictures indoors yay! Well actually it's my mum's camera but since I asked for it and it's always with me... I consider it mine :D

Can make bananas look nice eheheh. I didn't edit it.
Heh gotta learn how to use this cam. Slowly somehow, since I have no idea where the manual went. Whoops. I think I'd fall asleep reading it anyway.
So anyways, went to Clearwater with Emilia, Chang Min, Vyen and her sister for some filming for our project. :) Discussed and tried to make paper sampans while waiting for Vyen and sis lolol.
Emilia came to my house at 6 something (the madness!) and we DIY-ed her flower headband with some fake flowers, super glue and an elastic band.
Before picture: Fake flowers from Jusco haha. We had two bunches.
Cut the poor things from their stems!
Had McD for breakfast that Chang Min helped us buy and went to Clearwater! Such a pretty place.
Here's the finished headband btw.
Went to the fishing area for discussion and made many attempts to fold a paper sampan haha! We succeeded in the end, with much difficulty tsk tsk. Three science students.
Oh the lake was so nice with the sun and blue skies above it! Perfect weather that morning. Too bad the gardener uncle kept driving past us with his lawn mower lol so noisy.
Vyen and sis came while we were having lunch and we saw this herd of little animals on the far side of the lake! Shoo cute running around then standing up on their hind legs to look around. We were like 'OMG what animals are those?!' I asked mum and she said they were otters, anyway.
Shooting time! I took pictures, Vyen's sister filmed the actual footage and Emilia took random videos of everything.
Hello Chang Min the director!! :D
Picture of the lake, and... Chang Min's director hand. LOL.
Water lilies! Only one was in bloom :(
Chang Min and Mr Frog! Haha.
Oh and we kept seeing this monitor lizard around! Not sure if it was the same one but seriously. Very big one okay.
Grey skies. Rain soon!
Haha I find this so cute! Sorry Vyen for posting so many pictures of you :O
Chang Min's silhouette: EPIC.
See see this picture so nice! Eh but what's that in the middle..? It's Chang Min pointing again! LOL.
Trying to take a pic of ourselves haha.
Oh well ended the day of shooting with a sky pouring with rain and me forgetting my iPod at the kids centre. Gah had to double back to get it! Now we'll just have to see when we can finally finish this project.
SO. Next day: Penang with parents and grandparents. Nothing much this trip, stayed at Auntie Pamela's apartment, didn't really shop. Practised on a grand piano at dad's friend's house. He has monkeys btw!
You can totally tell she's a girl haha.
Had lunch with a few relatives the next day at Yeng Keng Hotel I think it was? One aunt acted in the Little Nyonya! Small role lah.
Macaroni pie. Didn't think very much of it though.
Oh and must mention Auntie Pamela took us for lunch on the last day at this place called China House. On Beach Street? It's sooo long it's like can run 100m race through it liao! Haha. The food was really tasty and the desserts were WOW. Definitely going again next time.
I bought three books at Komtar! Been eyeing them for a long time. Seriously but I wanted mum to pay haha. Got The Other Boleyn Girl, The Constant Princess and The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory. Slightly more than halfway through The Other Boleyn Girl and loving it. :) Check Philippa's books out if you like historical fiction! Oh and there was a movie made on The Other Boleyn Girl which I watched a couple of years ago.
Hmmm so I rejoined PPO today. No reason not to rejoin since she left hehe. Having a fund raising concert on April 8th at Meru, tickets are RM 150 each. @@ I'm the only cellist left but apparently there are two professionals coming to play during the concert. Hope they're not too intimidating o_o Gonna have to practise the running notes like crazy!
Ahh I wanted to sleep before twelve but here I am in front of the laptop at twelve thirty. Gonna read for a bit then bed! :)

Vietnam Part 3
Okay here we go! And again, fully unedited, uncropped photos. I'm lazy and not a whiz at photoshop anyways.
Day 4
Woke up early to go to Halong Bay! Heheh bus picked us up at the end of the street with our luggage then went around Hanoi picking up the rest of our group at all the little hotels.
Many houred journey.
Day 4
Woke up early to go to Halong Bay! Heheh bus picked us up at the end of the street with our luggage then went around Hanoi picking up the rest of our group at all the little hotels.
Many houred journey.
So dreary and bleak. Wouldn't like to stay here D:
No blue skies to be seen, not even once!
Hahah, and in Vietnam you're supposed to drive on the left side of the road, right? But the rule there seems to be drive on the left, but if there's no one on the right, you're totally free to be on that lane as you like, overtaking or whatever. And usually there are only two lanes on the roads, going opposite ways. Wth you'd think there'd be accidents left and right every single day, but surprisingly accidents occur quite infrequently over there. Probably because they don't drive too fast over there lol!
Stopped by at this place which sold lots of stuff. Quite awesome actually. Oreos of every flavour hehe! *Drools*
Well come to think of it not really I only like the original Oreos. I was blinded by all the choices =_=
Paintings? Nope it's all embroidery. =D
Mehh got on the bus last with mum's purchases =.= anyway our tour guide, Tom btw sang us a love song. What Vietnamese guys do the girl they desire >:) His voice was really good anyway.
After the super bumpy ride we reached the bay. Like, FINALLY!! Got on a little boat with all our luggage to get to the boat we were staying the night at.
Basically all we did on the boat was chit chat and make friends, sleep eat and laze around lol. Nothing too special.
Our teeny tiny bedroom! Or... just bed.
And not to forget dad and his little bed XD
Just had to share this terrible painting hanging in our room haha.
Passed a fishing village. Mehhh.. I was inside most of the time. And chatting with the tour guide.
Stopped at this island with a giant hill on it! I think it was called Tip Top Mountain or something funny like that o.O
Ahhh imagine how beautiful this place would look if there were blue skies reflected into the water! Which would probably happen in the summer time.. :(
Dad and I climbed up the super high hill =_= Steep steps all the way I was dying!! @_@ And I didn't even bring the camera up so the view at the top was totally wasted. Ish. And dad tried to talk to some of the Shanghai tourists up there but he didn't understand HAHAH! He was like Orh orh and after the guy left, what did he say ah? *shakes head*
Hello there squid! :D
I missed the cooking lesson and the kayaking after. Because I was lazy and I wanted to shower heheh. Ending up getting only cold water after wetting myself gah. Did I mention it is VERY cold in Halong Bay? Like freezing. With all the wind and water >.< Just stood there wet for goodness knows how long trying to get the warm water back. And in the end.. I just showered with the ice cold water. :(
Dinner time!
Spring rollsssss
Look at the pretty flowers! They're actually chili, potato, cucumber, carrot.. and the stalks are spring onion or something.
The meals were really pleasant :) Good food and sat at the same table as a Singaporean couple, an Irish couple and a Swiss man I think as well as our tour guide. Everybody got along quite well, unlike the other table where it was all Argentinians and a British couple. The Argentinians were kinda rude and ignored the British couple some moree at mealtimes :( They probably felt quite left out at that table.
Anyways it's late. Don't have much inspiration for blogging today *yawn* gotta get ready for bed now. I guess this poor Vietnam trip has to be split into four parts then. Tata! :D
This girl's face! I don't know why I feel it's so special!

Fraser's && KL.
Hello, just a mini update here.
Went up to Fraser's Hill for a freaking four day trip last week. Mum's friend, who apparently is some kind of niece of Lee Kuan Yew's joined us.
Warning: RANT AHEAD.
Most. Annoying. Woman. EVER.
Probably one of the worst trips made to Fraser's Hill because of her. =_= Boastful, thinks she's all that and just loves to insult people indirectly. Just because she's from a rich and famous family. Mum said that when she first added her (mum) on Facebook, the first thing she said in chat was 'I'm Lee Kuan Yew's niece'.
For example, during dinner she told me to always be very nice to my father. Not because I'm supposed to because he is my father and I'm supposed to be polite to him and all, but so that when he dies he'll leave all his money to me. Exactly what she said to me and sitting opposite dad and all.
From the first night I could already tell she was looking for things to pick up on us to gossip to others later. She practically said so herself and was constantly gossiping about everyone she knows to us throughout dinner, mostly bad stuff. On and on and on. Boasting about all the boyfriends she's had. Talking crap about people who mum later told me were very, very nice and well-mannered people indeed. Keep in mind it was the first time any of us had ever met her.
By the next night, mum already couldn't stand her and told me she'd never felt so adverse to someone so quick in her life before. Can't exactly remember but Miss Know-it-all was trying to teach mum how to do almost every single thing, including how to raise me. And she doesn't have any children herself. And she told mum that she 'didn't think very much' of my boyfriend, who she forced me to show her a badly taken picture of. Whereas she herself said that she never ever goes for looks in her men and only looks for brains. Freaking hypocrite.
And she knew that I disliked her, because by the third day I started ignoring her and zoning out (and wasn't afraid to show it) during the meals turned into her gossip sessions. So she was like saying her family might ask dad to do something for them that dad had suggested they do, and he could get a lot of money from them or something. Told dad 'So then you can use the money to send her to Julliard'. And then she turned to me and said, word for word, 'So don't you pooh at me, darling' with her little fake smile. Seriously I wanted to say PLEASE. I don't need your FAMILY'S money to succeed in life, thank you very much. But I just raised my eyebrows at her. If her relatives are all like this, then sorry to say I've lost all respect for Lee Kuan Yew's family. I've never in my life so disrespected any adult, let alone one I've only known for a couple of days.
The smart woman even tried to argue with me that 'sworm' and 'swormed' are words while we were playing Boggle. She meant swarm, actually. And was adamant that southe is also a word. She said that it's American spelling. And she calls herself a writer.
Oh, and she tried to show off in the guest book. Lemme show you one of her drawings. She's apparently quite a popular artist in Singapore and also teaches art.
You can judge for yourself. :) The person in the first picture is supposed to be me, btw.
Urgh... This is only 1% of what I could say about this woman, and I hardly did her justice in this post. Only I already feel so bad about writing all this bad stuff about her in my blog, even though she insulted us so much to our faces. It just feels like I'm as bad as her :S
So moving on.
Went to KL on Sunday with Cheryl, Emilia and Lime! :)
Took the 8 am train and read mags and chatted all the way to KL Sentral hehe. Then took the LRT to get to Pavilion. But somehow managed to take the wrong one and ended up somewhere else o_O so we had to take a taxi to get there lol. Luckily it only cost us RM 6 phew.
Nothing much to say actually except that we shopped a lot! Which is what you do when you go to shopping malls, right. Cheryl bought her dress for diploma, I still haven't gotten mineee. :(
Lost to temptation and bought an OPI nail polish. Such a pretty lavender colour it's kinda justified in my mind. But mum was really mad when I told her it cost RM 59.90. Whoops. It really is a lot to spend on a nail polish >.<
Which reminds me, China Glaze came out with a Hunger Games collection! Ahhh! I want!! *HUNGRY* Colours so nice!! But I guess it's going to be really hard to get my hands on China Glaze polishes in Malaysia. :(
Haha and we almost missed the train back to Ipoh. At least we thought so. The taxis outside Pavilion wanted to charge about RM 40 per trip! So we had to walk further away to get metered taxis. And the uncle who brought us took us through a really jammed road gosh. Gave us a fright until we got past the traffic lights and traffic was smooth all the way.
Hmmm nothing much else to say, just got back from a day of shooting at Clearwater and I'm tired and haven't showered! Feeling very dirty, needless to say so I'm off to shower now. Penang with parents and grandparents tomorrow. Sighh.
